Looking For a Fun Way To Exercise With Kids?

Try this basketball (or any kind of sports ball) workout you can do just about anywhere.  The only equipment you’ll need is a ball.  This is a fast full body workout that you can do with your kids as while you watch your kids at a park.  I recruited my son, Jordan, and my daughter, Ella to help demonstrate this simple exercise routine.

As a parent I’m always pressed for time and sometimes the workout gets pushed to the back burner.  So I started coming up with creative ways to exercise with my kids when they were at practices or playing at a park.

So here is this simple 4 Step Routine you can do.

The Basketball (or Any Ball) Workout

  • Do 20 Basketball Pushups
  • Do 30 Russian Twists
  • Do 10 Sumo Squats
  • Do 10 Single Leg Deadlifts With Each Leg

Rest 1 Minute & Then Repeat 3-5 Times

This routine is a great way to exercise with kids.  Remember if you are trying to get in shape consistency is the key.  So choose workout plans that you know you can follow through with day after day.
