Walk For At Least 5 Minutes Every 2 Hours ~ If you are stuck at a desk all day for work. Try to walk for at least 5 minutes every 2 hours. By the end of the day you’ll have at least walked for 20 minutes. It will also help you avoid those tempting, unhealthy snacks when you start to get hungry.  This is an easy way to lose weight!

 

 

Eat In Front Of A Mirror ~ OK this seems really strange to me but a recent study found that people that ate in front of a mirror reduced their caloric intake by 1/3. That is a significant number! Having to look yourself in the eye while you eat will help you reflect on your goals and why you are trying to lose weight in the first place.

 

Stare At The Color Blue ~ Do you see any fast food restaurants decorated in blue? So strange when I thought about it! They aren’t because staring at the color blue is an appetite suppressant. So get some blue plates and napkins and just surround yourself with blue to help you crave less food.

 

 

 

Put Your Fork & Spoon Down Between Every Bite ~ Our brains lag 20 minutes behind out stomachs. If you can slow down your pace of eating your brain will catch up and let you know “Hey, we are full now.” Sounds strange but it is true.  Who knew that slowing your pace of eating could be an easy way to lose weight!
