5 Motivational Books To Help You Crush Your 2018 New Years Resolutions

2018 is here!  As you create your new years resolutions I want to offer you some fuel so that you can stay motivated and go the distance!  These are 5 books that I found inspiring.  Each are unique in their own way and focus on specific topics but they all succeed in motivating you to become the best version of yourself!

#1 – Man’s Search For Meaning By Viktor E. Frankl

Man’s Search for Meaning, Gift Edition

This book is divided into 2 main parts. The first part describes Viktor Frankl describes his experiences multiple concentration camps during WWII. The second part dives into his theory of logotherapy. The theory is founded on the belief that human nature is motivated by the search for a life purpose; logotherapy is the pursuit of that meaning for one’s life.  One of the stories in this book really struck a chord in me and I reflect on it daily.  It was just one of many powerful stories.

motivational books the alchemist by paulo coelho#3 – The Alchemist By Paulo Coelho

The Alchemist

This is the only novel in the list but it’s filled with so many life lessons that you can make reality in your own life.  This is one of my favorite quotes from the book “Because I don’t live in either my past or my future. I’m interested only in the present. If you can concentrate always on the present, you’ll be a happy man.”  I really enjoyed this book and this lesson of living in the present is just one of many take aways from this book.
